BORING??!?!?!?!? I THINK NOT!!!!! I love this stuff! xDDDD
Aight. I'll bring up my Energybending theory from A10.
It's been rumored that through Energybending, the Avatar and/or Lion Turtle can pass various powers. We saw this at the finale that the Lion Turtle probably gave Aang the ability the Energybend. And with this power, Aang used it to take away Ozai's firebending.
So if Aang can take away, then why not also give? Although I predict that maybe this could take a toll in the long run, Aang can spread Airbending through Energybending. And from there, the new Airbenders can re-establish the Air nation, and continue multiplying the Airbending race.
The other theory to help continue the Avatar cycle with regards to the next Airbender. Well, it's obvious: Aang will mate and his offspring will hopefully be an Airbender. And through a long process, we'll eventually have another Airbender Avatar.
Quick question: Regarding the 2nd theory I stated, are the chances much higher for an Airbender infant to be selected as the next Avatar when the Airbender population is low? What if there was ONLY one Airbender baby? Would that baby be chosen right off the bat in order for the cycle to continue? Is that even fair to that baby?? (lol I guess it wasn't a quick question)

who knows? I mean, supposedly, the moment the last avatar dies, the new one is born.
I one time read a fanfic that involved Aang using energybending to create another airbender, and ever since then, I've thought of that as a logical theory.
my other thought was that since they are[were] Air Nomads, that they were wanderers. what are the odds that every single airbender was at one of the temples when the Fire Natipon attacked?
so yeh. basically, my theory is that the "Aang is the absolute last airbender" story is bull. thank you. =3

Who knows what is really going to happen with the airbenders? I think they might have left that information out for a reason. Maybe the answer will be found in the movie or other projects to come.
My theory is that since bending might be spiritual, Aang could teach someone to airbend. I mean humans were taught to bend by different animals in nature, surely one can be taught by the Avatar.
