Avatar: The Druid's Circle

This is the story of a druid called Isen. The story takes place at the same time as the series but from somebody else's point of view. Please write and tell me what you think.

Avatar: The Druid's Circle

Chapter 1: Arrival

Isen was in his chamber, staring into the broken, bloodstained mirror. He was anxious about his first task given to him by the Elders. He sighed,

"The time has finally come"

He grabbed his swords and his trenchcoat and walked out of his chamber. He walked into his master's chamber. He stopped about half way into the room and kneeled.

"Master"

"Rise my student" said The Grand Master

"You summoned me?"

"I did. Are you ready for your first task?" ask The Grand Master

"It's been ten years. I've been ready long enough." replied Isen

"Very well, Go to the Circle Yard, the Elders will be waiting for you."

"Thank you, my master"

Isen turned around and walked off. But before he left the room, The Grand master said

"Isen."

Yes, master?" replied Isen

"Don't kill any innocent people." said The Grand Master

"You have my word." said Isen

When he left the room, The Grand Masted gave a sigh of relief. He entered the Circle Yard and four Elders stood in the Circle.

"Greetings young Isen"

Isen said nothing, just kneeled.

"We have a gift for you, a powerful object passed down only to those strong enough to carry it. We believe that you're strong enough. I give you, The Druid's Sphere.

Isen stood up and opened his hand, The Sphere drifted into his palm.

"Thank you my Elders"

"Nature's blessings, Isen"

Isen bowed and left the yard. He stood in a small chamber, filled with a hundred candles. He raised his hands and started to open the portal. Meanwhile at the South Pole. Katara was introducing the village to Aang

" Aang, this is the entire village. Entire village, Aang."

Aang bows to them in a friendly manner, but the people pull back from him anyway.

"Uh... why are they all looking at me like that? Did Appa sneeze on me?"

An old woman enters the frame as Aang inspects his clothes for bison snot

"Well, no one has seen an airbender in a hundred years. We thought they were extinct until my granddaughter and grandson found you." said the old lady called Gran Gran

"Extinct?" asked Aang

Katara introduces Aang to her grandmother

"Call me Gran Gran" she said

Sokka grabs Aang's staff

"What is this, a weapon? You can't stab anything with this."

Aang then airbends the staff back into his own hands.

"It's not for stabbing it's for airbending."

Suddenly they heard a loud rumble that sounded like a thunder clap. Small bolts of lightning were shooting out of an open space and soon became a strip of light. The bolts then became bigger and started to melt the snow as they ran along the ground. Then a strange swirling hole appeared in the open space. The people jumped back when they saw a tall dark figure leap out of the portal. Isen stood in front of the entire village. There was silence. He then spoke

"Have no fear, I'm not here to cause trouble. I've been sent here by The Druid's Circle to watch over the Avatar."

Aang looked confused and said

"Watch.....over me?"

"You the Avatar?" asked Isen

"Uuuuh.....yeah." replied Aang

Isen was silent and looked confused.

"Holy Sh*t. Are you pulling my leg?" asked Isen

"Errrr......afraid not." replied Aang

"Right. Ahem, yes I've been sent to make sure you don't fail your task."

"Wait, how do we know you're not lying?" asked Sokka

The whole village replied with a thunderous "YEAH!"

Isen jumped back, composed himself and showed them his diploma.

"It's official." said Gran Gran

While Isen was negotiating with the tribe Zuko found out that the Avatar had awakened.

"About time, your hundred years of hiding is over." said Zuko

End of chapter 1

Sorry if chapter one sucked but I was tired and couldn't think straight.

Chapter 2: The Stranger

The children of the village were so fascinated by Aang they surrounded him and asked him questions. Isen sat on a nearby rock watching the children crowd around Aang. He took a piece of paper out of his coat and sprinkled some black powder on it, licked it, rolled it and made a ball a energy in his hand and lit the end. He took a draw and exhaled. Sokka was curious and asked,

"Hey man, what's that you got there?"

"Wanna try it?" asked Isen

Sokka nodded and took a draw. He gagged and fainted. Isen just laughed. Katara approached the strange man.

"Um...."

"Yes?" he said

"Aren't you bothered by the cold?" she asked

He looked into her eyes and started to smile. He then shook his head and very nervously replied,

"Err, um....not really, no, heh." he looks away and takes a slightly bigger draw and starts choking.

"Hey, why don't you show everyone your powers?" Katara suggested,

"Good plan." he replied

Everyone gathered to see Isen show them what he can do.

"Alright, I'm going to show you The Powers of Nature, the powers that druids use. See that rock over there?"

He points to a large rock,

"Now you see it."

He squats(like earthbenders do) and fires a bolt of magick and the rock turns to dust,

"Now you don't."

The village erupts into a thunderous applause. He bows and continues with is demonstration. Meanwhile, Zuko is sparring with his guards,

"Again." says Iroh

Zuko blasts fire from his hands at the guards, but misses. Then the guards attack Zuko with blasts of fire from their fists, but Zuko dodges. He back flips over the guards to land behind them.Iroh sighs and gets up.

"No! Power in firebending comes from the breath. Not the muscles. The breath becomes energy in the body. The energy extends past your limbs and becomes fire. Get it right this time." says Iroh

"Enough. I've been drilling this sequence all day. Teach me the next set. I'm more than ready." snaps Zuko

"No, you are impatient. You have yet to master your basics. Drill it again!" says Iroh

"Grrrr... huh! (He blasts one of the guards backwards with a gout of fire.) The sages tell us that the Avatar is the last airbender. He must be over a hundred years old by now. He's had a century to master the four elements. I'll need more than basic firebending to defeat him. You WILL teach me the advanced set!" says Zuko

"Very well. But first I must finish my roast duck." says Iroh stuffing his face.

Isen was sitting on the same rock he was on earlier, watching Sokka act like a general. He reaches for something in his coat and pulls out a bottle. The label reads "beer". He breaks the seal with his teeth and starts drinking. Katara approaches him,

"Why do you do that to yourself?" she asks

"There's nothing else I'd rather do." he replies

"There are kids watching you. If they see you drinking they might pick that up." she yells

"Slow down, I drink because this is how I deal with my boredom." he says

"You drink because you're bored?" asks Katara looking rather confused

"Hmmmm....somethink like that." he replies and takes another sip(when I say sip, I mean he takes a large swig). He stands up and looks for Aang

"Where is Aang?" he asks Sokka

"He went to chase penguins" replies Sokka,

"You left him alone?" he asks

"Well....yeah." Sokka looks at him. Isen slaps his forehead groans and turns back to Sokka

"You fool! If he dies I'm in the s**t!(He turns around and storms off) Grrrrr. f**K!" He starts calling for Aang.

There is no reply...

Chapter 3: Time to die

Isen was sliding down the slope. When he reached the bottom he was hit in the face by a snowball. He looked up and saw Aang laughing at him. Aang was then hit by a snowball thrown by Isen. They spent 15 minutes throwing snowballs at each other.

"That was cool" said Aang

"Indeed" replied Isen

Katara and Sokka followed Isen down and helped them back up.

"Aang?" said Katara

"Yes, Katara?" replied Aang

"why didn't you say that you were the Avatar when you woke up? I remember Isen saying that you were the Avatar." said Katara

"It wasn't my choice. I was born to be the world's last hope. I never wanted to be the Avatar." replied Aang.

There was silence. Isen took a deep breath and spoke

"I can relate. I never wanted to be a druid but fate is a B*stard." said Isen.

Afterwards they were trying to catch penguins. Isen caught a few and got bitten. They went sledding and Isen nearly died when he saw a fire navy ship. Katara went on explaining.

"I think it might be impossible to get in. These doors must be frozen shut by now." said Isen

Aang climbs in through a hole. They explore the interior for awhile, Aang suddenly realises that he is 112 years old. When they leave Aang trips on a wire and a flare is launched into the air.

"Oh c**p, you've just stirred up a hornet's nest now Aang. Let's leave, NOW!" said Isen.

Zuko was watching them leave through a telescope,

"He's quite agile for a hundred year old. Wait, who's that tall guy with him?" wonders Zuko. He tells a guard to inform his uncle about the discovery of the Avatar. When they return Sokka banishes Aang and Isen out of the village. Isen loses it and smacks Sokka in the face and tells him he's being a right royal c**t. Sokka retaliates but fails as Isen is too fast and too strong. Sokka gives up and Isen leaves. Katara says her goodbyes and storms off angrily. Isen stands facing the village turns around and starts walking.

"Hey Isen!" calls Aang

He turns around to face Aang.

"Do you want a ride?" asks Aang

He smiles and accepts his offer. After a while they spot a fire navy ship coming towards the village. They turn around and go back. Aang offers Isen the first kill. Isen grins morbidly. Meanwhile at the village Sokka prepares for war as does Zuko. Zuko arrives, beats Sokka to the ground and demands to know where the Avatar is.

"Go back to whence you came fire nation scum!" says a familiar voice

"Or I shall end your pointless lives!" Isen steps into Zuko's view.

"Those are some pretty big words. Can you keep that promise?" says Zuko. Isen grins morbidly and fires a bolt at a soldier, blowing his chest open. Isen nods and grins,

"Just how I like my fire nation." he says in a rather dark tone. He spits and draws his swords,

"DEAD!" he says in a vicious tone.

Chapter 4: Regaining Trust

Zuko,his soldiers and Isen were standing and just staring each other down. One soldier tried to run but was killed by Isen, who, as usual, grinned like a mad-man. His swords were drawn and his eyes were intensily focused on Zuko. The soldiers tried to rush him. The first one had Isen's sword in his back and Isen pulled it out sideways, the second had Isen's sword stuck through his stomach and Isen whipped around with his other sword which removed his head and the third had Isen's left sword in his stomach and Isen(grinning) sliced him in half with his right sword. That just left Zuko.

"You're pretty fast." said Zuko.

Isen started to laugh maniacally," This is the most fun I've had in ages!"

Zuko started to look worried as he has challenged a homocidal maniac who had a lust for bloodshed.

"Awwwwww. You look scared. You have nothing to fear. In a few seconds it'll all be over!" says Isen rather maniacally.

Zuko was trying to hide his fear but was failing.

"Give me the Avatar or-"

"Or what? You'll burn me?" interupted Isen.

Zuko was silent and was slowly losing his temper.

"JUST GIVE ME THE AVATAR!" shouted Zuko

"..........nope!" said Isen grinning mockingly.

Zuko fired a bolt of fire at him. He nimbly dodged and threw the Sphere at him. It hit him in the stomach causing him to drop. Zuko gets up, grabs a sword lying on the ground and swings at Isen. he dodges and does a crazy sword dance and roundhouse kicks Zuko. Zuko was starting to get angrier as this druid moved to quickly for him.

"Damn it, hold still!" growled Zuko

"Come on! Is that the best you can do?" said Isen

"Stop mocking me!"

Zuko swung round and cut Isen on his arm. Isen grunted and quickly disarmed Zuko.

Zuko dropped to his knees, admiting defeat. Isen grinned and put his swords in a cross shaped pattern on Zuko's shoulders. Katara stopped him.

"Stop! We don't want anymore bloodshed. Let him go!" she said to Isen.

Isen nodded and sheathed his swords.

"Get out!" he growled to Zuko.

Zuko left and boarded his ship. Isen turned to Katara.

"Why did you stop me? He was as good as dead and you prevent me from ending him? Why?" he asked,

"We have been living in peace for some time now and then you come along and kill five men in front of children! And you have the audacity to ask me why?" she snapped.

He looked downcast and said

"I'm sorry, I didn't think of it that way. I'll take my leave now. You won't have to worry about me again."

She felt quite sorry for him and pretty bad that she hurt him like that.

"Wait!" she called while running after him.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you like that." she said

"Don't worry, everybody used to yell at me all the time. I'm used to it." he said.

He soon realised that Aang hadn't arrived.

"Hold on, Aang should have been here." he said.

There was an explosion in the distance.

"uh-oh" he said.

He picked up Katara and leapt up into the air and flew.

"You can fly?"

"Depends on how much nature I'm around. If there isn't enough nature, I'll fall."

Katara looked worried. They landed on a fire navy ship. Isen put his hand on his forehead.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, when I'm not near anything natural I become lathargic. I can still fight but I'll just get tired quicker."

He stood up straight and whistled.

"What are you doing?" asked Katara

"Getting their attention. And Appa's" he replied

He drew his swords and jumped over the balcony. He fought the fire nation soldiers and told Katara to look for Aang. She ventured into the ship, not long afterwards she saw two soldiers go flying down a passage. There was Aang.

"Katara! You found me!" said Aang.

"Come on, Isen is fighting in a weak state. Appa should be here soon" she said.

They went onto the deck and Isen was still fighting and doing very well even though he was weak. Appa landed on the deck.

"Good boy Appa." said Isen

He motioned to Aang and Katara to get onto Appa. He jumped onto Appa and grabber the reins.

"Yip yip!" he said.

Appa took off and flew towards the village.

"You pick things up quickly" said Aang.

"Everybody said I was a fast learner." replied Isen

At the village everybody was happy that Katara, Aang and Isen were back safely. Isen grunted and cluched his arm where Zuko cut him.

"Are you alright? Let me take a look."

Katara pulled back his sleeve and saw blood gushing out of his wound.

"You need a healer."

"No, I just the water."

He sticks his arm into the water.

"s**t it's cold!" he said

Katara giggled. He pulled his arm out and the cut was gone.

"We heal in the water" he said.

She noticed his tattoo on his arm had changed to green.

"Your tattoo..."

"It does that. It's green because I'm happy. When it turns red I'm angry, blue I'm depressed, white I'm scared and black..."

"Yes?"

"It's a Sunday."

"Meaning?"

"I'm bored and it's time for a drink."

As soon as he said that his tattoo turned black. He pulled out a bottle of beer and broke the seal with his teeth and started to drink. Sokka gave him a friendly slap on the back, which made him drop his beer.

"Aang, can I borrow your staff?" asked Isen

Aang handed him his staff. He turned to Sokka, raised the staff and started screaming. Aang and Katara decided to stay for another night and leave in the moring.

"Sokka! Get back here so I can beat you to death!"

"I'm sorry!"

"You spilled my beer you b*stard! I'll impale you on an iceberg!"

Chapter 5: Departure

That night they had a festival in honour of the Avatar's return. And Isen's arrival. Of course, Isen wasn't AT the festival, nope, he was outside the village, staring at the stars. Isen never trusted anyone, he learned, over the years, that the people you trust can still hurt you. Katara was looking for him and wasn't too happy when she found him just standing by the wall looking at the stars, smoking.

"What are you doing, Isen?"

"Staring at the stars."

"There is a celebration in your name! Why aren't you there?"

Isen remained silent.

"Well?"

Isen still was silent.

"You know what? Don't bother!"

"I cannot tell a lie, Katara."

She turned to face him.

"I don't trust people. Everybody I've trusted has turned on me and stabbed me in the back! That's why I'm not celebrating, I've got nothing to celebrate."

She walked towards him and stood by him.

"Thanks for keeping me company Katara."

She smiled and nodded and stared at the stars.

"She's beautiful isn't she?" asked Isen,

"Who?"

"The moon."

"She is indeed Isen."

Isen reached into his coat and pulled out what looked like pan pipes. He started to play a sad song(ironically, it's Everybody Hurts by R.E.M). Katara was reduced to tears by this sweet song. She took him into the village and told him to play that song again. So he did. The whole village was reduced to tears. When he stopped the people were asking for more. He played the whole night. Later that night, Isen couldn't sleep. All he saw was himself confronting his father and killing him. He sat in the centre of the village and continued to stare at the stars. The next morning he was by Appa, making preparations. He walked into the village and told Aang, Sokka and Katara that he has made the final preparations. They had to wait before they could leave, Isen predicted a strong trade wind coming from the north. While they waited, Isen decided he was going to be curious(bad idea), he saw one of the villagers carrying a basket of meat balls.

"What are those?" asked Isen

"Walrus testicles." replied the villager.

Isen's mouth dropped and his eyes widened in shock.

"I'm just kidding, they're just meat balls."

Isen ate one.

"These are pretty good. What animal are they from?"

The village points at a walrus. Again, cue the eye widening, jaw dropping shock, with food dropping out of Isen's mouth. He dropped the ball and fainted. The villager was actually pointing at a penguin. After awhile Isen said that the wind has passed and it was safe to leave. They said their long, tearful, sad, dreadful, dramatic, over done, sombre, dre-

"WE GET IT! DAMN IT!"

Doesn't Isen know that it is rude to shout at the narrator? Anyway, they set off onward towards the Southern Air Temple.

"Isen?" asked Katara

"Yes?"

"Do you have a family back home?"

"............"

"No, I have no family."

"What happened?"

"When I was born, my mother passed away. My father took one look at me and walked off with my brother. My sister looked after me. After awhile, I was being called a murderer for killing my mother. It wasn't my fault. I was disowned by all. My sister was getting death threats by everyone. If she didn't get rid of me, they'll kill her. She couldn't take the strain. So, she told me that she loved me and that she'll always be with me. I walked into her room and saw her on the chair, dead! All I can see in my mind is the blood dripping from her wrists and the bloody knife on the floor. Soon afterwards, The Druid Circle took me in. My father wasn't pleased. I was trained and I surpassed all expectations. On my 16 birthday, I was given full membership. My father hated the idea. The Circle threw him out, but, you can never leave The Circle without dying."

You see Isen's flashback. It's dark and raining.

Isen: FATHERRRRRR!!!!!

Isen: FATHERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

His dad turns around and fires a bolt. Isen dodges and fires a bolt at him. It hits but doesn't kill him. He fires more and creates a ball of energy in his hand and pressed it onto his father's forehead. Blowing off his own arm. Isen starts screaming.

"It was stupid. I had destroyed my own arm. I was left on the altar in the rain(flashback of Isen rolling on the altar screaming). It was the most painful night of my life. All I could do was scream. The pain was unbearable. My scream echoed through The Towers. Everybody stared out of their windows, watching me. Then the pain disappeared. White spots were appearing where my arm was. As the rain drops fell more spots appeared. Then the spots took shape of my arm. My arm was glowing white and when it stopped glowing, my arm was back. After a few months I was given this mission. That is what happened."

"What about your brother?" asks Sokka.

Isen looked at the clouds and said:

"I don't know. I really don't know."

Appa flew off into the horizon.

End of chapter 5

You know what? I suck. I said the NORTHERN Air Temple when in actual fact they went to the SOUTHERN Air Temple. I corrected that mistake. Here's chapter 6.

Chapter 6: The Southern Air Temple

Isen was sitting on Appa's head and watching Katara mend Sokka's trousers.

"How did you manage to get a hole that size in your slacks?" asked Isen.

"I don't know! I don't pay attention to where I'm walking."

"He should've just stopped at 'I don't pay attention'" he whispered to Aang.

Aang giggled quietly.

"GET A MOVE ON WOMAN!" shouted Sokka at Katara.

Katara angrily threw Sokka's slacks in his face.

"YOU fix them, I'm not doing it!"

"Come on, Katara! PLEASE???"

"FINE! But I don't want to hear anything else from you or else."

"Or else what?"

"I'll set Isen on you!"

Sokka quickly sat there and shut his mouth. Isen took out another bottle of beer and had a drink. The wind was very strong and it blew his beer out of his hand. Isen's eyes widened when he noticed that his beer vanished from view. The bottle flew and hit Sokka on the head. Knocking him out.

"Oh crap!" he said.

"Don't worry about it Isen, he'll wake up in about an hour or so." said Katara,

"Not that, my beer is gone!"

"So?"

"That's my last one."

Soon, they arrived at The Southern Air Temple. Sokka jumped out of the saddle and rubbed his head.

"What hit me?"

Isen started to laugh.

"What?"

Everytime Sokka spoke he started to laugh harder. It got so bad, he couldn't stand anymore.

"Hey Sokka. You wanna play some Airball?" asked Aang

"I'm game. You coming Isen?"

"No thanks."

He sat and watched the boys play. Isen is very introverted. He always avoided socializing. After a while they all sat around Isen.

"What is it guys?" he asked,

"Tell us." said Katara,

"What?"

"About yourself."

"I already gave you my entire life's story. What else do you want?"

"We want to learn about your powers."

"Okay. Well, as you know there are four natural elements. Some people were born with a certain chi patern. Which allowed them to 'bend' these elements. These elements are: water(he demonstrated by bending a nearby stream of water), earth(he stomped his foot and a large rock popped out of the ground and he kicked it and it flew off the edge of the mountain), fire(fire flew from his fists) and air(he made a column of air around him). There are also six magickal elements. You can't be taught these six. You can only gain them from Six Runestones. I've also been sent to find them and defeat The Devil known as Belzial. These six are:

Rune 1: Shael: Light([these brackets are Isen talking] a blinding beam of pure light that can pierce the darkness and banish all evil)

Rune 2: Ort: Energy(Pure energy. Cannot be redirected by anyone.)

Rune 3: Ith: Spirit(Souls of the past gather as one and produce a bright blue flame)

Rune 4: Eld: Necro(We can summon hordes of the undead with this Runestone)

Rune 5: El: Astral(This is a passive element. We can see all over the world with the help of the stars. We even get psychic abilities.)

Rune 6: Amn: Dark(a beam of corruption. Everything the beam touches dies.)

That is the origin of our powers. Without the ability to bend we'll be unable to draw the natural energy out of the area. If there is no nature we have no energy to gather. We lose all stamina and strength, in other words, we become lethargic."

"So, you can teach Aang the different types of bending?" asked Sokka.

"No, I'm forbidden by the Circle to teach outsiders our sacred art."

"Oh."

"Let's not talk about it."

Sokka and Aang went back to their game. Katara stayed by Isen and the two just talked.

End of chapter 6

Chapter 7: The Truth

Isen and Katara had jut finished talking when Aang told them to follow him.

"Where are we going Aang?" asked Katara,

"You'll see when we get there." replied Aang.

They followed Aang and came to a big door. Aang pointed at the door.

"It's just a door Aang." said Sokka,

"You're wrong Sokka. I've seen a door like this back at The Circle chambers." said Isen,

"Well, what is behind these doors?"

"It is the Avatar chambers. Statues of the past avatars are erected in this sacred chamber."

"Stand back everybody. I'm going to airbend this door open."

Aang blew air into the socket and the door opened. The four stepped into the chamber. Isen bowed to all the statues that he came across.

"Was there a druid avatar Isen?" asked Katara,

"No, we could never become the avatar. It's impossible."

"I see."

They explored the chamber for awhile. Aang came to a statue in the center of the chamber.

"Avatar Roku." said Isen,

"You know about Roku?" asked Aang

"Not much. Just that he was born in the fire nation and was a close friend to Fire Lord Sozin."

"Really?"

"Indeed."

"Wow."

"Let's go look around some more. You might just kick my ass at airball Aang."

"You're on Isen."

Isen and Aang had a great airball game. Both were tied until they got tired and fell off.

"You boys had enough?" asked Katara

"No no. We're just fi-*snore*"

Isen just passed out. He woke up two minutes later.

"Aang?"

He looked around.

"Aang!"

He ran looking for him. He then saw Monk Giatso's body.

"Oh no."

He ran out looking for Aang and was surprised to see a lemur land on his face.

"What in the name of- What the f**k is this?"

He g rabbed the lemur and stared at it. It panicked and flew into where Giatso was. He looked up, Aang and Sokka ran into him, knocking him over.

"Ouch! The pain."

He quickly snapped.

"Oh f**k! AANG!"

It was too late. Aang had already seen Giatso. Aang was on the ground, crying.

"Aang."

He sensed a growing chi signal. He turned to Sokka.

"Sokka, run!"

Isen ran toward Aang in attempts to calm him down.

"I know you're upset. Don't let the anger consume you. Don't-"

He was interupted when a ball of air blew him backward. He hit the wall on the other side. He saw Katara run toward Aang.

"No Katara, it's too dangerous. RUN!"

Sorry it took so long to update, my PC was acting up and it took 500 years to get more inspiration.

Chapter 8: Kyoshi

Katara managed to calm Aang down and the four decided to leave the temple.

"It wasn't enough." said Isen,

"He faught valliantly but he was overwhelmed, I'm sorry Aang."

"For what?"

"For everything."

They all looked at him. Soon they landed on a beach and rested. The lump on Sokka's head grew larger which caused Isen to laugh hysterically. They heard something and then suddenly they found themselves bound and blindfolded by strange warriors.

"Well this is unexpected." said Isen out of surprise.

They were tied to stakes, one of them pulled Isen's blindfold off. He blinked and looked in awe.

"Hi."

"Speak when you are spoken to intruder!"

"Right."

"Who are you?"

"I'm Isen Kane and this is-"

"Wait, did you say Kane?"

"Uh-huh."

She looked at him funny and stabbed his leg.

"OW! JEEBUS CHRIST! Why d'you do that?"

"We don't tolerate Fire Nation spies who lie."

"F**k wha?"

Two of them took turns in punching him in the face.

"You ready to talk?"

"We just spoke a moment ago!"

She kicked him in the crotch.

"OOOOOOH! DEAR GAWD!"

"Now speak."

"I AM Isen Kane and this is Sokka, Katara and Aang. He's the Avatar."

"Prove it."

"Untie him!"

They did so and Aang demonstrated by using his air scooter. They all looked at each other and then looked at Isen.

"You....You were telling the truth."

"OH, YA THINK?!"

"Sorry."

"Bollocks."

They untied them all and apologised. One of them handed Isen an ice pack which he held to his crotch. He sighed deeply.

"Isen?" asked the girl named Suki.

"What?"

"I wanna show you something."

He followed her into a shrine.

"The elders kept it in hopes of your return."

Isen opened the case and was surprised to see he great grandfather's old whip.

"This....This is the Witch Slayer."

He lashed it out and was swinging it around(in other words, he was showing off). He was so amazed at the discovery.

"We kept it after the passing of Solomon Kane."

"Wow. The elders searched high and low for this whip, and to find it here is....Whew, this is just too much."

She smiled. He stepped outside and held the whip up in the air and the village cheered. All of a sudden people were screaming and houses were burning. Zuko was invading.

"Awww, not you again."

"I've come for the-"

"Yeah yeah yeah, we know, the Avatar right?"

"Yes."

"Not happening buddy."

Isen and the group were fighting the soldiers. Isen was enjoying himself a little too much.

"There's too many of them, you guys must leave." said Suki.

"But what about you?" asked Sokka.

"We'll be fine."

They all ran to Appa and flew away.

"How did they find us?" asked Katara.

"I don't know, but I think we must just move on." said Aang.

Isen nodded in a agreement. They flew off into a burned forest.
